The Claret Jug at Dungannon Golf Club has only been in business for 18 months, yet in that short space of time it has established itself, serving food of the highest quality at very reasonable prices. Dishes are full of flavour, using top quality seasonal ingredients which are sourced as locally as possible. Cooking, under the direction of Head Chef, Prince, takes on a modern style with a creative edge and original flavour combinations. The restaurant has panoramic views over the golf course and a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere that’s popular with one and all.
We have many regular customers, which is testament to the high quality of our food. Our three talented chefs take great pride in their work; having different nationalities they bring an international dimension to our menu which has evolved over the past year. Firm favourites include our salt ‘n’ chilli beef, which is cooked in a batter containing a special blend of spices, our chicken stack and of course our steaks which are always cooked to perfection. Prince has created his unique flavours by taking the best of the dishes he learned to cook as a child in Zimbabwe and then experimenting by adding flavours he has picked up on his journey across the world. Our customers believe that this experience is what makes our food special.

We take great pride in sourcing our ingredients as locally as possible and always providing freshly prepared and well presented dishes. Mindful that some of our customers have varying needs or dietary restrictions we have developed an extensive gluten-free menu and we have a wide range of vegan dishes on our A La Carte menu to choose from.

Our restaurant is bright and spacious and in the summer, our customers are able to appreciate the panoramic views of the golf course, with the town of Dungannon in the background. With ample free parking and with everywhere on the same level, our restaurant is easily accessible to all.
