During the past year the Strategy and Planning Committee, led by convenor Noel Gormley, has been developing a 5 Year Strategic Plan. A Strategic Plan is a “big picture” document that sets the direction or desired future for the club; it is used to provide focus and direction in order to move the club from “where we are” to “where we wish to be”.
The results of our recent Members’ Survey have shown us the aspects you think are working well and have pinpointed areas that require improvement, however if a strategic plan is to be effective it must have greater input from the members, therefore Council invites all members to a
Members’ Forum at 7.30 pm on Monday 13th January 2020.
Noel will present the draft Strategic Plan 2020 – 2024 (you can read now it by clicking on the image at the bottom of this page) and members will have opportunities to ask questions and make comments.
Rory Leonard from the Confederation of Golf in Ireland (CGI) will be in attendance as he has given the Club guidance and has experience of helping other Clubs with similar projects.
Please come along on to the Clubhouse on Monday 13th January and have your say. Your views are important.
